إسرائيل لا يمكنها الاستمرار في العيش إذا انقطع الشريان الذي يربطها بالغرب، وهي تعتمد بصورة كبيرة في الحفاظ على هذا الشريان على الإعلام بأشكاله المختلفة، ولا يخفى تحكمها فيه (وجعلناكم أكثر نفيرًا
إسرائيل تفطن إلى هذه النقطة جيدًا، وقد نجحت في الاستفادة منها إلى أبعد الحدود رغم القتل والإرهاب الذي تمارسة علانية، في الوقت ذاته فشل العرب في الانتصار لحقهم المشروع وأصبحوا في نظر الغرب هم القتلة المجرمون الذي يريدون إبادة الإسرائيليين (بعدما نجحت إسرائيل في اغتيال حقيقة أنها كيان غير شرعي
هذا الشريان الذي يربط بين إسرائيل والغرب إذا نجحنا في قطعه، ستذبل إسرائيل على عودها، وستتلاشى ذاتيًا، أو على الأقل تضعف بصورة تُقرِّب المعركة الفاصلة، وتسهلها
إنها معركة إعلامية، يُدلي فيها المخلصون بدلوهم من كل حدب وصوب، وأبدعت فيها قناة الجزيرة خلال حرب غزة الأخيرة، ولن يسع المؤرخون لهذه المرحلة في المستقبل أن يتجاهلوا ما قامت به القناة من جهد قلب الموازيين، فكما يقولون في الإعلام الصورة الواحدة توازي أكثر من ألف كلمة
ما يحدث على ثرى فلسطين لا ينبغي بحال أن يطويه النسيان، لذا حان وقت نقل الحقيقة لمن لم يعرف، وتوثيق تلك الجرائم، تمهيدًا للملاحقات القضائية، فحشد الرأي العام العالمي تجاه قضية معينة يصب في مصلحتها ولا شك، وقد يؤثر مستقبلا بما لا يمكن تصوره اليوم
إيمانًا بهذه الفكرة أنقل خطابًا أرسلته إحدى المسلمات الفضليات من سيدني إلى كيفين رد - رئيس وزراء أستراليا - في الأيام الأولى من الحرب الإسرائيلية على غزة، تستنكر فيه بيانه عن/وموقفه تجاه محرقة غزة. كما أرسلت نفس الأخت طاباً مماثلاً لنائبته جوليا جيلارد

من كـُتر الحرقة أياميها حسيت إني لازم أعمل حاجة - لو كنت أقدر أصرخ في وشهم وأقول لهم الكلام ده ما كنتش اتأخرت - أنا عارفة إن جواباتي دي يمكن ما يكونش لها تأثير- لكن استريحت بعد ما كتبتها - قلت ح اكتبها والباقي على الله

ده كلامها، وهذه محاولاتها، قل لي أنت ماذا تفعل، وكيف تحوِّل حرقتك ومرارتك إلى وقود يقرِّب النصر؟

Mr Rudd,
900 dead and 4080 injured innocent defenceless civilians on the streets of Gaza and the toll is still rising as we speak.
Despite UN Security Council resolution No 1860 for an immediate ceasefire – the bloodbath is still filling.
What justification could there be for such a genocide; for this holocaust?
How could anyone believe that this is an act of self-defence by Israel?
How could we as human beings stand by and watch this massacre take place?
How could we as human beings stand silent in the face of such monstrosities?
Where is the famous Australian sense of decency? Where is the Australian government conscience?
It is because of western governments such as US, Britain, Germany and Australia, giving the terrorist state of Israel the free reign to kill and maim the innocent that these bloodbaths in Gaza have continued up to now.
I am sure you know the full extent and all the facts of what goes on in Gaza and in Palestine. Are you happy with what you see on TV every night? Are you happy with little children's bodies coming home in pieces, riddled with chemical weapons thrown at them by the Israeli war machine; these chemical weapons are forbidden by international laws. But Israel will use them, and will always defy all international laws and agreements. Why does it always consider itself above the law?
It is because of the western governments' silence and lack of condemnation!
The Australian government conscience has to wake up; this is an act of indecency. It is a savage war waged against defenceless civilians. How can you justify what Israel is doing to the people of Gaza? How can you blame the murder on the victims?
The whole world has woken up to the whole truth: Israel doesn't want peace; it wants a land without people. It is annihilating the whole people of Gaza, only because they are defending their right to a homeland and their right to existence. It is a basic human right given rightly to any people under occupation; and in the case of Palestine, it has been an occupation for 60 years.
The terrorist state of Israel has waged these recent attacks on people under siege. The people of Gaza have been living in an open prison, in an open sewage (no electricity, no fuel, no water, no food, and no basic medical services) for the past two years. What kind of monstrosities are we witnessing? Wasn't it enough that Israel has forced these people to live under these sub-human conditions? Now they wage these cruel attacks on hungry defenceless people.
In the media, the Israeli representatives are not making it a secret that Israel is deliberately slaughtering defenceless civilians as a payback for electing Hamas.
Now these statements are coming from the most democratic country in the Middle East!
Israeli's aim is quite clear: they want to wipe out a whole group of people from existence, the same way the Nazi wanted to wipe the Jewish race from existence.
Mr Rudd,
Believe it or not! With the statements you make on behalf of the Australian government, you are as much to blame, as the Israelis are, for what is happening in Gaza; for the suffering of the innocent; for the destruction of hospitals, schools, mosques, ambulances and the whole infrastructure of a nation that wants to live in dignity and defend its right to exist.
Your government was elected to speak for the majority of us, but with your current position and with the statements you make, you don't speak for the majority of Australians.
You must have the decency and the courage to condemn Israel for what it is doing in Gaza unequivocally in no uncertain terms.
Only then will the atrocities, perpetrated against the innocent defenceless children, stop.
It is a responsibility thrown on your shoulder; and it is a big responsibility.
I hope your conscience will wake up in time; only then will you face your self in the mirror; only then will you be able to sleep soundly at night.
